Here’s a quick, unpretentious, and
clever idea from PhotoJojo. It doesn’t really need much explaining. Old photo, align with new scene, take another photograph, done. Interior scenes would work, too. If you try this at your school, let me know. I’d love to post a gallery of “old/new” school photos using this simple technique.

I used this idea for the last few panels in the my weekly photo essay. (I don’t work at a girls’ school but love this blog)
After poking through the archives and walking through the school I ended up with a dozen or so.
I did it during the school day, and sparked a number of fun conversations with students and teachers about the history of the school (and why there’s a door there, a sink there, etc – our school is forever being revamped)
